Edgewood is seeking Grounds Keepers, Make Ready, Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Supervisors. Tech positions are starting at $18+ an hour.


All levels of Apartment Maintenance Technician positions require candidates have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.  Employment eligibility, background and reference checks will be performed for all levels of Maintenance Technician. Job Requirements

We are seeking Grounds Keepers, Make Ready, Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Supervisors. Tech positions are starting at $18+ an hour.


  • Grounds Keeper/Porters: This entry-level position is a fantastic way to moving-up through apartment maintenance ranks! Pool certification (CPO) a HUGE plus! Maintain apartment community's grounds, assist maintenance team and address common areas via janitorial and lawn care tasks.

  • Maintenance Technicians: If you have good remodeling experience, this is a great way to utilize your skills while being a part of a stable and consistent industry! The Make Ready Technician ensures that vacant apartments meet the established quality standards for re-leasing by performing light remodeling, technical and mechanical work.

  • Certified Maintenance Technicians: They are responsible for emergency/unscheduled repairs to apartment homes and community property during business and off-hours. HVAC experience is highly preferred. Maintenance Technicians also perform routine/scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. On-call duties may apply. Having an EPA certification (min level II) and/or a pool certification (CPO) is a HUGE plus!

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent. Two to three years’ experience as a residential property management maintenance technician and at least Eighteen months of education and training beyond high school level in general Maintenance repair, HVAC certification or closely related technical area to ensure the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failure.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS/HAZARDS


Light/heavy lifting, carrying materials, operating light/heavy equipment, moving of equipment. Ability to work in all types of weather. Occasional hazards with materials in the grounds trade, including chemicals. Must be able to frequently walk the apartment community.
