Job Description

We are looking to hire an Assistant General Manager in Bethesda, MD!

We currently have a need for an Assistant General Manager to support in the management of two class A Luxury high rises including one in Lease-up. In this hybrid role, you will help manage the Leasing Team to ensure goals are met, have a commanding knowledge of budgets, have a tenacity for reducing delinquency and ensuring that invoices and renewals are processed timely.  In addition, you will create and build relationships with potential residents, conduct community tours, and help market our community. You will also assist the General Manager with resident relations; including assisting with the application and move-in process, helping to resolve resident concerns, and producing weekly/monthly reporting. To succeed in this role, you must be able to successfully lead a leasing team, have excellent sales skills in person/over the phone, have great attention to detail, have an innate drive to succeed and have excellent customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other functions may be assigned.

 • Managerial/ Supervisory experience, a must

• Strong sales aptitude and focus on providing current and prospective residents with exceptional customer service.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills required to interact with both residents and office staff.

• Strong experience in leasing and sales

• Strong experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

•High energy, hardworking, ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment with an excellent sense of urgency

Job Requirements

Requirements: The successful  Assistant General Manager will have the following qualifications:

• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail and Internet and other Property Management systems. Onesite preferred

• Demonstrates flexibility with hours and days worked – MUST be able to work weekends.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3 years of property management experience in a management role
