We are looking to hire an Assistant Community Manager in Washington, DC!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned.
  • The candidate must be able to initiate and oversee all aspects of the day to day tasks as it relates to property management including: A/P & A/R, client relations, facility maintenance, property inspections, vendor management, and system data files.
  • Also, the candidate must have applicable knowledge of Affordable Housing (LIHTC, Section 8, Section (202), Initial and Annual Re-certifications, LIHTC Compliance Regulations, Marketing and Leasing.


Requirements: The successful Assistant Community Manager will have the following qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Property Management Experience a MUST
  • Excellent and premiere customer service orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong bookkeeping skills, preferred
  • High-energy, hardworking, ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment with an excellent sense of urgency
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail and Internet and other Property Management systems
  • Tax Credit Specialist, HCCP, NCHM and any other field related designation(s) preferred
  • Project Base Section 8/Re-certification experience required
